From May 18th to 19th, 2019, the Chinese International Education and Chinese Cultural Communication Seminar was held in Tianjin university, supported by the Secretariat of the World Chinese Language Teaching Association and hosted by the School of International Education of Tianjin university. Ma Lili, a teacher from the department of Chinese Language and Literature of our college, attended the conference and presented her paper.
Professor Wu Yinghui from Beijing Language and Culture University, professor Zhao Yang from Peking University, professor Cao Xianwen from Nanjing University, professor Li Qingben from Hangzhou Normal University, professor Ma Zhiyao of Tianjin University, professor Du Xiuping and director Yuan Li of Confucius Institute headquarters were invited to give keynote speeches.
At the meeting, experts and scholars from domestic universities which offer international education of Chinese language and culture had an enthusiastic discussion on language ontology and discipline construction and literature and culture.
The participants learned the latest scientific research achievements in the discipline and were offered an opportunity to communicate and exchanges ideas with each other. It is fair to say that this seminar played a positive role in the development of international education of Chinese language and culture.
