The School of Humanities and Law Steadily Promotes the Construction of First-class Undergraduate Courses and the Construction of Young Teachers

On May 17th, the School of Humanities and Law held an expert review meeting to focus on evaluating the first-class undergraduate course cultivation program and the university's Young Scholars Support Program for Philosophy and the Social Sciences project. Wang Xuedong and Yao Chengjun, deputy leaders of the school’s preparatory group, attended along with the school’s expert evaluation group. Wei Xuebao, a member of the preparatory group, reported on two projects to the expert evaluation group. Through a rigorous evaluation process, the meeting reviewed one online university-level first-class undergraduate course cultivation project, three university-level and one school-level mixed online and offline undergraduate course cultivation project, one university-level and eight school-level offline first-class undergraduate course cultivation projects, one university-level and one school-level social practice first-class undergraduate course cultivation project. The meeting agreed torecommend five persons, including Associate Professor Dong Jinxin, to apply for the university's Young Scholars Support Program for Philosophy and the Social Sciences project. Yao Chengjun, deputy leader of the school’s preparatory group, affirmed the expert evaluation group’s work, pointing out that both curriculum construction and building a team of talented personnel are top priorities in the next step of the school's work. This requires the hard work and dedication of all teachers, with the school’s professors and backbone staff required to give full play to their leading roles.
