From November 3 to 4, 2018, a two-day symposium entitled Studies on History of Chinese Literature and their research perspectives was successfully held at the Sophia Hotel in Qingdao.
Deputy dean of our College, Dr.Wei Xuebao was invited to attend the symposium andreportedhisresearch titledOn the Interacting classical and Poetic Perspectivesover Interpretations of Bi and XingConcepts.
At the opening ceremony, Professor Li Weiran, Vice President of Ocean University of China, Mr. Sun Shaohua, editor of Literature Heritage, and Professor Sun Zhimei from Shandong University delivered their speeches.
Then, the participants conducted in-depth group discussions on such topics involvingStudies on History of Chinese Poetry and their Researchperspectives, and studies on the history of Chinese Literature and other themes. The conference achieved fruitful results.
Undertaken by the School of Literature and Journalism of OUC, and co-organized by the Editorial Department of LiteratureHeritage of CASS, the seminar has attracted numerous scholarsfrom dozens of universities including Fudan University, Tsinghua University, CASS, etc., as well as publishers, editors of academic journals.
