Recently, according to the university’s arrangement, branches of the School of Humanities and Law’s Party Committee carried out theoretical studies on teachers’ professional ethics and morality. The Department of Law’s Party branch took a combined approach, using online learning and independent offline learning. All teachers in the Department of Law conscientiously studied the spirit and content of files about our university and country. They then discussed how to implement the building of teachers’ professional ethics and morality, taking into account the law department’s reality. Moreover, teachers who are CPC members from the party branch of the Department of Chinese Language and Literature took turns in speaking on the theme “Teachers’ Professional Ethics and Morality”. The Department of Music’s Party branch organized online special study projects, with teachers first studying “Xi Jinping’s Counsel for Teachers”: teachers must always remember that their mission is to impart knowledge and educate people, that their job is to mould the soul, shape life and sculpt people. A good teacher should do well in the “four things”, be a student guide in “four aspects”, and insist on the “four unifications”. All the teachers have a better and more systematic understanding of the above themes, as well as a shared feeling for teachers’ professional ethics and morality.
