In recent days, the Seventh Congress of Qingdao Science and Research Management Seminar was held in Huanghai Hotel. Deputies from various disciplines and fields in industry, university, research and media attended this seminar. The leaders of Qingdao Civil Affairs Bureau, Civil Administrative Organization and the Qingdao Association for Science and Technology also presented to congratulate and gave a speech.
The seminar adopted the work and finance report of the Sixth Council and the description of amendments to the regulation. Through voting, Zhang Yongning, from College of Arts, was elected as the executive member of the council; Sui Yinghui, the president of the council; Luan Qingsong, the secretary general; and Lv Boyuan, the supervising chairman.
As the council member, College of Arts successfully held Seminar on Green Energy and West Coast Industrial Transformation in October, 2014. The meeting studied and implemented the spirit of deepening reform of the Third Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee, propelled the industrial transformation and upgrading in Qingdao, explored modes and approaches for green energy innovation in multi-discipline and cross-industry, and strengthened the strategic cooperation between government, industry, university, research, capital and agency. Hu Xin, Chairman of the Qingdao Association for Science and Technology, spoke highly of the meeting. Several news media reported this meeting.
Qingdao Science and Research Management Seminar was established in 1985. Its members are mainly scientific researchers, managers and consulting researchers form government, research institutes, universities, enterprises, intermediary services and other departments.
