2019 Seminar on Translation Teaching and Translation Technology was successfully held in Shanghai from July 9th to 11th. The seminar was hosted by the School of Foreign Languages of Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), organized by SJTU Press Co. Ltd., and supported by the School of Languages of Shanghai University of International Business and Economics (SUIBE). The seminar focused on disciplinary construction of translation, translation technology practice, and design and presentation of translation course, aiming to improve translation teaching skills. Associate professor Yin Yantong in our college attended the conference.
The seminar has three subjects: the theory and practice of the MTI Program, the construction of translation technology courses, the application of Python in translation and the design and presentation of MTI’s gold courses. Many scholars were invited to give wonderful keynotes. At the seminar, associate professor Yin Yantong from our college exchanged views with participating scholars from all over the country.
