In order to carry out the important instructions issued by General Secretary Xi Jinping on including the “Civil Code” in the national education system and carrying out widespread popularization of the law, given at the Twentieth Collective Study Session of the CPC Central Committee’s Political Bureau on May 29th , as well as to practically do a good job of learning about and spreading the message of the “Civil Code”, the UPC (East China) School of Humanities and Law decided to establish a “Civil Code” Publicity League. The publicity league mainly works on theoretical research, popularizing the law, strengthening consultancy services, creating an atmosphere of legal popularization, striving to understand, disseminate, protect, publicize, implement and promote the “Civil Code”, as well as guiding the masses in cultivating a conscious awareness of abiding by the law.
